FebWhere everyone knows your name.
There’s something nice about going some place, not waiting and just having the first available person help you. I have those times where I know what I need, they can give it to me and it doesn’t matter their level of knowledge or if they are personable or not. Quick and dirty, get it done.
For other things in my life, especially where there is trust or satisfaction involved I build relationships. When I get a pedicure I see the same girl every time- she knows I tip well and she gives me the best hour of my life. We frequent restaurants that know us, know our habits and our likes and dislikes. We do takeout from a place that knows I like a little bit extra sauce and puts in an extra just for me, without me asking. These little things that are so nice are all due to me building a relationship and not just being another number to them. I know that if I didn’t work for an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) I would find one that I love and trust. I prefer the Apple Specialist variety as these are the people that have been dealing with Macs before I even thought about computers. If you’re not lucky enough to live close to a Specialist, do yourself a favor and get to know the people working on your computer. Build a relationship, you know you love your Mac, love the people that work on them for you and you’ll be much happier. :)
And now I leave you with lyrics from a cheesy sitcom that will date me horrifically:
“Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same You wanna be where everybody knows Your name.”

Back one day, questioning humanity
I’m pretty big on not link baiting, or so I thought. As it turns...

That sounds like a lot.

When a design I coded looks the same on all major browsers, I feel proud. :D
